What kind of damage can you repair?Most chips smaller than a $1 coin are repairable. If they are in the CVA (Critical vision area) we will need a photo to assess whether it can be repaired, as it can be an issue for warrant of fitness. If you have a hairline crack in the windscreen it will need to be replaced.

How long does it take to repair a windscreen?The time it takes to repair a windshield largely depends on the extent of the damage. On average, a windshield repair can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. However, if the damage is severe or if the windshield needs to be replaced, the repair process may take longer. Our team of experienced technicians will assess the damage and provide a timeline for the repair process. We strive to provide efficient and timely service to our customers.

Are you mobile?Yes, we are a fully mobile autoglass service and cover most of the Waikato and Coromandel Peninsula. We offer no charge mobile service in: Paeroa, Thames, Ngatea, Te Aroha, Morrinsville, Waihi and Whangamata. Get in touch to find out if we charge travel for your area.

Do you guarantee your work?Yes, all of our work is guaranteed for the life of the Glass.

Do you accept winz payment, Afterpay and eftpos?Yes, yes and yes. We are registered Winz suppliers, get in touch and we will send you a quote to supply to winz, once payment has cleared we can get your glass sorted out. We also have mobile eftpos and accept afterpay card. You just need to have the afterpay card set up in google pay or apple wallet on your phone.

Do you do insurance work?Yes we sure do. Since Precision Windscreens is an independent repairer we work with all insurance companies! Just give us a call to get the ball rolling. If you have Insurance with an broker, have your policy number handy when you call and we can deal with them directly.

Can you calibrate the camera on my windscreen?Yes! We are set up with the latest equipment to calibrate ADAS forward facing cameras on most vehicles on NZ Roads. Some systems we can calibrate on site, others may require it be done at our premises in paeroa. Get in touch to find out which type your car has.
